In general, on-premises solutions are typically situated at the physical location of an organization’s office or in a hosting facility chosen by them. All application resources and associated data are housed on a server or within a private cloud hosted in this specific environment. This approach grants the organization the full authority to oversee and regulate security measures and data access for their application. Nonetheless, it also implies that the company bears the responsibility for the upkeep of the hardware used to deliver the application and for ensuring the security and accessibility of the server location.
